One of the places you have to take your kids once in their life time is on the Polar Express to see Santa. It’s truly an amazing trip that the kids will never forget!

We stayed at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel. We didn’t have any time to scope out the Hotel but the rooms were nice and the main entrance was beautiful. It was all decked out in Christmas decor. Perfect for photo ops.

We got there unpacked and left again to see the town. As you can see there is not much.

After spending 30 minutes shopping, the town was really small, we went back to the hotel to get ready for the Polar Express!

Took tons of pictures while we were waiting for the train to come in.

After pictures we went out to the court yard where it was magically lit up with christmas lights! It was really cool.

We finally got out to the train and the kids were so excited and very cold! They were ready to meet Santa! Don’t forget to bring your Christmas List!

They Greeted all of us with Hot Chocolate and Cookies!

They made the trip truly magical on the way there. The kids got super excited when we finally made it to the North Pole. It takes a good hour or more to get there. It just a little set up in the middle of nowhere.

Then the kids get to meet the big guy, the one and only Santa. The looks on their face was priceless! He greeted each and every child and gave them a special bell.

This was a truly memorable trip and one I highly recommend doing at least once for your kids while they’re still young.

Also while you happen to be there why not go see the Grand Canyon! We took another train to go see the majestic beauty & arrived at the Depot in what seemed like in the middle of no where land.

It was very cold and rainy when we went but it was so worth it! Luckily they had shops to buy warmer jackets.

We all know that the Grand Canyon is a beautiful place to visit but I was on edge the whole time with the kids. There really was no railing or guards in a majority of the spots. I’m glad I went but I probably won’t go back until the kids are much older.
